Terms of Service

1. About these terms

Makereel (makereel.kienhoang.me) is operated by Kien Hoang in Vietnam. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and Slideshow creation service. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. If you use Makereel for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].

2. Accounts and access

Provide accurate account information and protect access to your email and sign-in provider. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You must not use another person’s account without permission or bypass access restrictions.

3. Acceptable use

Use Makereel lawfully and respect other people’s rights. You must not:

• Upload or generate content that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Use the service for fraud, unlawful impersonation, exploitation, harassment, or other illegal activity.
• Upload malicious code, interfere with the service, or attempt to access data you are not authorized to access.
• Evade billing, credit limits, or security controls, or misuse third-party platforms through the service.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in the content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive permission to host, copy, process, transform, and transmit that content as needed to provide the features you use, maintain and secure the service, and respond to your support requests. This includes processing by service providers needed to deliver those features.

You are responsible for having the permissions needed for uploaded images, text, links, and other materials. Importing content from a public URL does not establish permission to reuse it. Review applicable licenses before distributing your Slideshow. We do not claim ownership of your content; rights in AI-generated output depend on applicable law and any relevant third-party terms.

The Makereel software, branding, and other service materials remain the property of their respective owners. These terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of it.

5. AI and third-party services

AI-assisted results can be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to other outputs, or unsuitable for your intended use. Review and edit generated content before using or publishing it. You remain responsible for factual accuracy, rights clearance, and compliance with the rules of any destination platform. We do not guarantee originality, audience growth, revenue, or a particular outcome.

Features that rely on external providers depend on their availability and applicable terms. Makereel is not endorsed by the social platforms referenced in the service. Only capabilities actually available in your workspace are included; references to a platform do not promise direct publishing or analytics.

6. Payments, subscriptions, and credits

Applicable prices, billing intervals, promotional conditions, credit amounts, and expiration rules are displayed in the service or at checkout. Review them before purchasing. Payment processing and subscription management use Dodo Payments and are also subject to the applicable checkout terms.

Recurring subscriptions renew according to the billing interval disclosed at purchase until canceled. Use the billing management portal available from your workspace to manage or cancel renewal, or contact us if you cannot access it. Cancellation stops future renewal according to the applicable billing terms; it does not itself reverse an earlier charge.

Credits are used for eligible actions as described in the service and may expire under the conditions shown for the grant or purchase. Promotional offers apply only under their stated conditions. We will disclose changes to recurring pricing before they apply, with any notice and cancellation rights required by law.

7. Refund requests

Send refund requests to [email protected] with the account email and relevant purchase reference. We review requests individually, taking into account the circumstances, service usage, applicable payment terms, and law. A request does not guarantee a refund. Nothing in these terms limits a refund, withdrawal, or other remedy that applicable law or binding payment terms require.

8. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Makereel at any time. Cancel any recurring subscription separately through billing management. Contact us to request account closure or deletion of personal information.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address violations of these terms, non-payment, security risks, or legal obligations. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Any consequences for paid services remain subject to applicable law and the refund terms above.

9. Availability and responsibility

We work to maintain the service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change and maintenance or third-party failures may interrupt access. Keep copies of content you need independently of the service.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the extent such exclusion is lawful. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or other conduct for which an exclusion is prohibited.

10. Governing law, changes, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. Contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a concern. If a dispute remains unresolved, it may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law; these terms do not remove your mandatory consumer rights.
